Play Dates - ages newborn to 18 months & 1.5 to 4

Kindermusik Play Date may be just what you need this summer! Want to “try” a Kindermusik class? What a great way to do it. Come spend an hour singing, dancing and playing instruments with your little one. Learn how these activities help your child’s development and how you can incorporate these activities in your every day routine. Take Home Materials: Available by request only

Sing, Play & Stay - ages 2-4 years & 4-6 years
NO PARENTS ALLOWED!
Why not enjoy 2 hours of freedom while your child is learning about music. We will sing, dance, play instruments, have a snack and make a craft. There will be free play time. But more than anything else, we will have lots and lots of music! Each class also includes a set of home materials so you can continue the music at home.

You can sign up for this class in one of 4 ways. You can choose to enroll your child in either 1 class, 2 classes, 3 classes or all 4 classes. The more classes your child takes, the less it is per class.

Animals a Dancing (2-4 years)
Dancing, hopping, rolling, and stomping. This month we’ll move like all of our animal friends and develop muscle coordination and spatial awareness along the way. Your Home Kit features songs for wiggling and helps toddlers develop dexterity and fine-motor skills. Your magazine-style Family Guide also includes at-home activity ideas, games, and questions that involve the class story, so your child develops memory and comprehension—all in the context of sharing time with you.

Jazz Kitchen (4-6 years)
We will take jazz music, sounds and instruments into the kitchen! Children will explore food in its many dimensions—shopping at the grocery store, then heating up the kitchen with chopping, dicing, making toast, and cooking noodles from scratch—all to the rhythms and sounds of jazz. They’ll also explore quarter-note and eight-note rhythms with their hands, their bodies, and a piano keyboard.

Dance with Me (4-6 years)
This month, we’ll feature the music and dance of “one-two” rhythms and “one-two-three” rhythms. In class, we’ll hear real instruments and learn a few dance steps, too. Activities like dance, where your child follows a short sequence of instructions, helps to strengthen memory and his ability to follow directions. At home, play the CD in your Home Kit and let your preschooler show you a new step or two.
